I submitted my first Knitpicks order a few days ago. My mother-in-law gave us $50 for my birthday present. I bought some clothes, and then had $30 left. What better use for it than yarn?
And I’ve heard a lot of good things about this site, so I might as well bite the bullet and try it already. But I’m poor, so I wanted to get the best value I could. So I bought several balls of their cheapest worsted yarn (I think the cheapest yarn they have overall), the Brava Worsted. It still had good reviews, and I mean, from what I’ve heard about this site/company…it can’t be bad. It might not be the best of the best, but it’s almost certainly going to be an improvement on what I use already.
Why am I telling you all of this? I really don’t know, other than the fact that I’m proud that I bought some Knitpicks. It’s been my goal since forever. Or since I started crocheting and soon discovered there’s nicer yarn than Red Heart Super Saver. No offense to RH, though. I love the color selection, and it’s the best I’ve found for amigurumi.
Yep, that’s probably about it. Someday I’ll be able to afford me some Chroma!
